Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten flott den Wert einer lieblings Listung in den Serps und recht bald entstanden Einrichtung, die sich auf die Aufbesserung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen vollzogen wurde der Antritt oft bezüglich der Übermittlung der URL der jeweiligen Seite an die diversen Suchmaschinen im Netz. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Homepage auf den Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein 2. Anwendung, der so genannte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die neuzeitlichen Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Informationen, die mit den Webmaster eigenhändig vorliegen werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im WWW wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Eindruck über den Content einer Seite, gewiss registrierte sich bald hervor, dass die Benutzung er Details nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts repräsentieren kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei charakteristischen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Attribute im Laufe des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite größer in Ergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die damaligen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Gesichtspunkte angewiesen waren, die bloß in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Schindluder und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um höhere und relevantere Resultate in Ergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Unternhemer der Suchmaschinen im WWW an diese Umständen anpassen. Weil der Riesenerfolg einer Suchseite davon abhängt, besondere Suchresultate zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten untaugliche Urteile darin resultieren, dass sich die Mensch nach anderen Optionen für die Suche im Web umschauen. Die Auskunft der Search Engines vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Positionierung, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll manipulierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Die Suchmaschine – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Auch zusätzliche Suchmaschinen im Internet bedeckt bei Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. fit der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Google
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
