Teen arrested after mom observed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of companies responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after a teenager’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teen never made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the world along with a number of different businesses in an attempt to find him.
The teen was discovered near the varsity’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old could possibly be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no menace made to the school or anybody inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Center School was briefly positioned on lockout because of the incident.
