Die späten Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die durch die Webmaster selber vorliegen werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im WWW wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Thema einer Seite, gewiss stellte sich bald heraus, dass die Nutzung dieser Hinweise nicht verlässlich war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Präsentation des Seiteninhalts reflektieren hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei spezifischen Ausschau halten listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedene Attribute im Laufe des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu manipulieren, dass die Seite passender in Suchergebnissen gefunden wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Faktoren dependent waren, die alleinig in den Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Schindluder und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um gehobenere und relevantere Testergebnisse in Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten sich die Unternhemer der Search Engines an diese Rahmenbedingungen integrieren. Weil der Gelingen einer Suchmaschine davon abhängt, wesentliche Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unpassende Testergebnisse dazu führen, dass sich die Mensch nach weiteren Möglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Rangfolge, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur kompliziert manipulierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwickelten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo search – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Suchalgorithmus basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Doesnt work. Google send notification to owner of the business it verify the update by the Google user.
The owner can simply deny the change. And nothing happens
