Die damaligen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die anhand der Webmaster selbst vorhanden werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im WWW wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Überblick über den Inhalt einer Seite, aber stellte sich bald hoch, dass die Nutzung der Ratschläge nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der gebrauchten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts reflektieren hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei einzigartigen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Attribute innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite überlegen in Ergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die damaligen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Aspekte dependent waren, die allein in Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Abusus und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um tolle und relevantere Ergebnisse in den Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Unternhemer der Suchmaschinen an diese Ereignisse anpassen. Weil der Riesenerfolg einer Suchseite davon zusammenhängt, wichtigste Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten ungünstige Resultate darin resultieren, dass sich die Mensch nach diversen Möglichkeiten zur Suche im Web umschauen. Die Erwiderung der Suchmaschinen im Netz lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Platz, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Can someone help me with the issue:
When I enable the SEO in System>Settings>Store>Server Tab, everything looks and runs Okay, exept when I go in ANY sub-category.
Then the site's URL goes from MySiteNameURL/MainCategory, to MySiteNameURL/MainCategory/AnySubCategory and CSS and JS are not loading at all! The category items listed in this categories are loading , exept the Style CSS file and any JS I have. In other words the site's style is gone.
But:
But if I drop the MainCategory from the URL and enter directly: MySiteNameURL/AnySubCategory the site is finding the correct path to the CSS and JS and everything is Okay.
Please, could someone help me with this? Thank You.

IMPORTANT FOR localhost! If you running project under sub directory for example localhost/opencart/upload you should update .htaccess

Thanks for the video, this made things that little easier for me, the only difference I had to make was to add a few custom lines from my .htaccess to the bottom of the new .txt one as my site forces https access. Took a few seconds and no issues so far
Doing this has broken all product pages. When I click on any product I open an error page that says something like this: "Fatal error: Uncaught Twig_Error_Loader: Unable to find template "extension/module/quickorder.twig" followed by paths that are missing.

Then again, what about all the product pages? They still show an ugly, ridiculous URL like:
index.php?route=product/product&product_id=40 ???
Who would ever try to even think about buying a product_id=40 from any online store?

I had this setup just fine on my site, but now I'm working with a multi site, and the seo url's do not work with the additional store. I get error 500. I can not figure out why.

I have two htaccess files
htaccess and .htaccess.txt
What do I do here, delete htaccess which is the original file and amend the .htaccess.txt by removing the .txt extension?
Thanks for the video. I had an issue though, my installation on Cpanel did not have the .htaccess.txt file. So I had to create one, then I copy pasted the content from github to the new file and it worked. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/opencart/opencart/master/upload/.htaccess.txt

Hello. I have made all as described here, but get 404. And not seo urls works. My site use 2 languages and I have set keywords for both languages. Finally it works, but changing language go to home page and connection on seo url pages are not secure.
It would be good to add that one should only put category_id=xxx for category etc. because first I was trying to add the whole link with index.php and so one.
