Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There were two juveniles in the automotive. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in secure situation, officials mentioned. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
