Man arrested in reference to “school shooter” indicators found in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple prices. 

An elevated quantity of cops had been positioned at schools within the communities on account of the indicators. A number of schools initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators across the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, but they decided there is no credible threat at the moment.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The safety department released a photograph of the plate but blurred part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of felony threatening and three misdemeanor prices including false report back to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged presently.
