Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak began on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Huge Mac. I’ve counted every Big Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Large Macs a day.

“All via life right here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be dead before you attain 50 years of eating Large Macs.’ I assume I proved them mistaken,” he mentioned.

His son isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely happy meals. I at all times liked my hen nuggets, and my brother always liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life kind of thing for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has extra of a diverse food plan.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets on daily basis. I used to eat cheeseburgers every single day, but finally you simply get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, however he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side till he dies.
