800 staff resign after company asks them to work from office

Over 800 WhiteHat Jr employees have resigned from the children on-line coding studying edtech start-up in the final two months after being asked to work from office.

This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, asked its workers to return to office inside a month’s time, in response to an Inc42 report.

On March 18, the company announced the coverage to end work from home and requested remote staff to return to workplace by April 18.

The resignations came from full-time staff of the sales, coding, and math teams. Extra employees are anticipated to put down their papers in the coming months.
