Family of Abducted Lady Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Sex Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now dwelling after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airways Center. However the household still seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly enough concerning the crime, which had the girl as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” lawyer Zeke Fortenberry stated. “Our intent is that approach (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for his or her negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry said the teenager’s father knowledgeable police on the sport when he realized she was missing. But, in keeping with the lawyer, the father was instructed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police mentioned they weren’t capable of help as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The lawyer said it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to find the lacking lady, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

Dallas Police advised WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the girl was found, the staff releasing the next assertion: “The American Airways Heart (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Both entities will proceed to cooperate with native and regional legislation enforcement on this case.''
