LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC/Gray Information) - An incident that involved gamers from a college’s lacrosse team and deputies in Georgia remains underneath investigation.
WTOC reports Delaware State College President Tony Allen released a press release on Monday responding to the incident that reportedly occurred on April 20 in Liberty County.
Allen wrote Georgia law enforcement stopped a bus for a minor site visitors violation with the Delaware State Lacrosse staff on board. Deputies searched the belongings of the student-athletes, together with suitcases with drug-sniffing canines.

The team was returning dwelling from a game in Florida and touring by a contracted bus, in accordance with Allen.

Nothing unlawful was found in the search, and Allen knowledgeable the general public that he has contacted Delaware’s governor, the Black Caucus and different state officers.
Allen wrote that everybody was incensed over the incident.
Allen also added the following:
“We do not intend to let this or another incident prefer it go idly by. We're ready to go wherever the evidence leads us. We have video. We have now allies. Perhaps more significantly, now we have the braveness of our convictions.”
Allen concluded his assertion by writing, “We will by no means be bullied into believing anything other than what we are: Individuals, learners, lecturers, builders—useful and honorable people ready to soar.”
