New York sex employee Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 males

The pattern was nearly similar.

Between July and August 2019, intercourse employee Angelina Barini met together with her shoppers at motels in New York City before giving them harmful doses of medicine that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the boys and go away with their personal belongings.

Four of them, including a distinguished Italian chef, died of overdoses from the medicine, court docket data state.

In August, Barini pleaded guilty to distributing drugs that killed her purchasers, including fentanyl and gamma-butyrolactone, recognized for inflicting irrational habits, severe sickness, coma and loss of life.

Last week, a decide sentenced the 43-year-old Barini to 30 years in jail.

“The defendant drugged and killed a number of folks for a few fast dollars,” Breon Peace, the U.S. attorney for the Jap District of New York, said in a news release. “She stole their private belongings whereas they lay unconscious dying from the lethal drugs she gave them.”

Barini met her first victim at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the man fentanyl-laced drugs and left the room. Police discovered him dead hours later, courtroom information state.

Every week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with another man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, where she gave him fentanyl-laced medicine. The person also died of a drug overdose, a complaint states.

The following month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third victim in College Point, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medication that led to a fatal overdose, prosecutors said.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her last identified sufferer, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, where she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, commonly often called a “date rape” drug. The man died shortly afterward.

That day, court information state, Barini repeatedly tried to eliminate the sufferer’s body. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s body in bleach-stained sheets and positioned it inside a trash bin, in response to prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported lacking on Aug. 21, prosecutors stated. That same day, the New York City Police Department discovered the man’s physique in the motel room.

Fernando Dallorso, the general manager of Cipriani in New York, informed the New York Occasions that Zamperoni was a “dedicated laborious employee” who cooked six days every week and “by no means missed a day of work.”

The kitchen workers mourned the loss, Dallorso instructed the Occasions.

“Everyone in the kitchen proper now is heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso said.
