Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs every day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I rely every Big Mac. I’ve counted every Huge Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Massive Macs a day.

“All via life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be dead before you attain 50 years of consuming Massive Macs.’ I suppose I proved them mistaken,” he stated.

His son shouldn't be stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I all the time beloved my rooster nuggets, and my brother at all times beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life kind of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse weight loss program.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets each day. I used to eat cheeseburgers every day, but ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, however he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue eating Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet till he dies.

“A number of times people will say, ‘You seem like I’m eating a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I suppose that’s how I feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d rather eat,” he said.
