Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Big Macs every day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Large Mac. I’ve counted every Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Large Macs a day.

“All through life right here, lots of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be dead before you reach 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I guess I proved them incorrect,” he said.

His son is just not stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I always cherished my hen nuggets, and my brother always liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a various food plan.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets every day. I used to eat cheeseburgers every single day, but ultimately you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, however he definitely does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll continue consuming Large Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect until he dies.

“Loads of times folks will say, ‘You seem like I’m eating a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I really feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d quite eat,” he mentioned.
