Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - Several companies responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a teen’s mom observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty round 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teen by no means made it contained in the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the world together with a number of different agencies in an attempt to find him.
The teen was discovered near the school’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old may very well be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no threat made to the college or anyone inside the school.
O.L. Slaton Center Faculty was briefly positioned on lockout on account of the incident.
