Teen arrested after mother noticed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of agencies responded to a middle school in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center School around 9 a.m. when she observed the firearm. The teen never made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the world together with several other companies in an try to seek out him.
The teen was found near the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old may very well be dealing with a felony weapons charge.
