LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC/Gray Information) - An incident that concerned gamers from a college’s lacrosse workforce and deputies in Georgia stays beneath investigation.
WTOC studies Delaware State College President Tony Allen launched an announcement on Monday responding to the incident that reportedly occurred on April 20 in Liberty County.
Allen wrote Georgia law enforcement stopped a bus for a minor traffic violation with the Delaware State Lacrosse group on board. Deputies searched the belongings of the student-athletes, including suitcases with drug-sniffing canines.
“100% you may’t be in that left lane at all,” stated a Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The staff was returning dwelling from a sport in Florida and traveling by a contracted bus, in accordance with Allen.
Liberty County Sheriff William Bowman held a news convention about the incident but took no questions. He claimed that no private items on the bus had been searched.

Allen wrote that everyone was incensed over the incident.
Allen also added the following:
“We don't intend to let this or another incident prefer it cross idly by. We are ready to go wherever the evidence leads us. We've got video. We now have allies. Maybe more considerably, we have the courage of our convictions.”
Allen concluded his assertion by writing, “We will by no means be bullied into believing anything aside from what we're: Americans, learners, teachers, builders—helpful and honorable individuals able to soar.”
