Russian spy plane violates Swedish air house

A Russian reconnaissance airplane briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish defense officials said on Saturday, because the Scandinavian country ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish protection ministry mentioned in an announcement, adding that its teams had adopted the incident and photographed it.
The ministry mentioned the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island in the Baltic, before it headed towards Swedish territory.
“It's totally unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This action is unprofessional and given the overall safety scenario very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty must at all times be respected.”
