Nashville Public Library launches ‘Freedom to Learn’ campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It is a subject that's taken hold in Tennessee: books like "Maus" or "Walk Two Moons" have been pulled from shelves.

Whereas those books might be banned from some colleges, there may be still someplace else you can find them.

"Our job is just to ensure that in order for you it, it is here for you," said Public Info Officer for the Nashville Public Library, Ed Brown.

"'Maus' is all checked out proper now," stated Brown. "So we received more copies on order but as quickly as phrase obtained round about what happened in McMinn County, we got a lot of holds."
