Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles within the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and at the moment are in secure situation, officials mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
