Probably one of the best videos I’ve watched to help me with my golf swing! Had to rewatch a few times 😆
This dudes the goat !!!! Just got my first set at 40 years old and been golfing par 3 to learn the 9 iron !
Thank you my guy !!!
Great video 👍
Every single "how to swing the golf club" video I've seen across many channels all have one thing missing which as a beginner I find confusing – at what angle should you hold the club shaft at? And what I mean by this is, if you take the very bottom of the club head where 90% of it is flat until you get to the tip where it curves upwards, should that flat bit be completely parralel to the ground? If it should, then that dictates the angle I should hold the shaft at. If it shouldn't then the angle the shaft should be held at needs to be explained because otherwise there's quite a wide number of angles I could hold it at by moving the shaft slightly towards or away from me at the starting (or resting) point. This probably tangents into custom fitteds clubs/shafts, but as a beginner I'm using standard length clubs, so I kinda wanna know what the correct angle is meant to be….yet noone ever explains it. And ofc I don't know if this changes by different club types/numbers.
Me watching this video in the car on the way to the golf course for the first time
Just watching how to line up from the ball helped my swing immensely. Thanks for this video
I’ve been playing 35 years and I learned a few tips! Spot on!
This is a great video lesson for beginners. Thank you.
I have a problem when I uncoil I slice at the ball rather than coming straight at it. Which causes me to shank the ball on almost every shot I take. How can I fix this?
Really enjoyed this video and has helped me enormously, by doing the basics right. Can anyone recommend a follow on video from this one ?
This is why Mr Shiels has over 2 million subscribers.
Thanks Rick. You're the best!
I've been playing for a year
Thanks Rick, great video 👍
Great video but how do you not mention the overlap/vardon grip? The most used grip on Tour…
Great video.
Not to complicated like others .
Helping to improve my game, cheers 🍻
More vids like this
thanks for those hand movements i wouldve had no idea what u were talking about with them
I am having so much trouble keeping my left arm straight like that. I'm 6'5 and have real long arms. Idk if thats why, but even when I turn my hips and body my left arms still bends. If I try and straighten it; it feels like it'll break
💯% new to golf. Was hitting at the driving range and feeling embarrassed as I would miss the ball completely or top the ball and have it speeding along the ground instead of sailing through the air. I pulled this video up and practiced the mechanics. After about 20 min I was consistently lifting the ball “straight-ish” 140-160 yards. Like magic.
Thank you! You helped me at top golf lol😂😂
Finally, after hours of watching YT vids for beginners, this foreigner explains key points from holding the club, address and hitting the fn ball in one short video. Thank you.
ur cute tbh
