Talking in the dugout of the Nice American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kapler stated, "I do not plan on coming out for the anthem going forward till I really feel better concerning the route of our nation."

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made an impassioned plea to take stronger action in opposition to gun violence in america.
