Federal brokers entered Uvalde college to kill gunman despite native police initially asking them to attend

Federal brokers who went to Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 youngsters had been told by local police to wait and not enter the varsity — and then decided after about half an hour to ignore that initial steering and discover the shooter, say two senior federal regulation enforcement officials.
