ERCOT, Texas' energy grid operator, is putting out a name for all Texans to preserve power over the next few days as we head into a weekend with probably record warmth.

In a press release, the Electrical Reliability Council of Texas said, "unseasonably hot weather" was driving document demand throughout Texas" and that they want everyone to conserve energy between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday after six facilities unexpectedly tripped offline Friday afternoon.
