A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information release from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Outdated Trustworthy geyser, the park stated.

Fuller / VWPics via AP Images filePark rules require visitors to stay greater than 25 yards from the animals, the biggest mammals in North America, that are unpredictable, can high speeds of 35 mph and may leap several toes.
An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison live at the park, they usually have injured extra individuals than some other animal, the park said.
When the visitor came within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft within the air, the park said.
The girl had puncture wounds and different accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two other people have been also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park mentioned. The release didn’t say in the event that they had been injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A earlier version of this article misstated the severity of the woman’s accidents. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
