The household of an 11-year-old girl who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the shooting.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was simply crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I believe every little thing got here to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of the two academics killed. Her buddies and classmates have been additionally targeted.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah bought some blood and put it on herself so she may fake she was lifeless," said Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene over and over again, however that's what my sister-in-law said is that she saw her buddy filled with blood and he or she received blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.
