Attacks by Boston youth ‘terrorizing unsuspecting citizens’ proceed downtown; police can’t make arrests because many suspects ‘too younger’

Boston’s mayor and legislation enforcement officials are struggling to deal with a string of no less than 5 violent attacks involving juveniles “terrorizing unsuspecting citizens” that have occurred across Boston.

The most recent attack occurred on Wednesday evening when Boston police had been dispatched to Boston Common shortly after 6:30 p.m. Two women claimed they had been attacked by 5 kids. The lady allegedly yelled, “Why you be speaking (expletive)?” at one of many women who warned the kids to “behave.” The girl reportedly punched one woman’s face, knocking her glasses to the bottom. The girl allegedly then stomped on the glasses earlier than hurling extra punches.

Mayor Michelle Wu on Friday stated it's “important to take a look at the root causes right here,” and said her office is “working closely” with businesses and stakeholders, including households, public security agencies, schools, and others to attach the juveniles to help, WCVB reported.

The Department of Youngsters Youth and households is investigating, WCVB reported, and local police have increased patrols in areas affected by the violence.

Roughly 200 people attended a virtual Chinatown community meeting to name for extra efforts to fight the violence, according to the Herald.

One of many incidents is being reported as a hate crime, the Herald said.
