10 injured, 3 law enforcement officers hurt after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

Ten folks were injured, four critically, and three regulation enforcement officers have been hurt Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, based on police.

He said there have been “a pair completely different teams shooting at one another generally.”

“As we stand here right now, we’re fortunate we don’t have a lifeless cop or lifeless citizen or dead community members," Reynolds mentioned.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are still working the scene.

Two folks have been arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police stated.

Those suspects had been identified as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing studies from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Workplace. 

Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest. 

Officials stated more arrests are expected.

Officials said South Avenue from Nassau Street to Drake Street and America Avenue from Reid Road to Mary Street within the area will stay closed to process the shooting scene.
